Projects & Infrastructure Team
The Projects & Infrastructure team provides comprehensive whole-of-life advice on energy and infrastructure projects. The team is known for working with clients throughout the full lifecycle of their projects, from origination to construction and development, to operation and end of life.
From procurement design, probity and tendering, through to delivery advisory services and dispute resolution the firm has the necessary technical expertise, experience and industry knowledge to assist across all stages of the construction cycle and across all procurement methodologies.
Position Description
As part of the role, you will be acting for significant resources companies in relation to key project documents such as State Agreements, joint venture agreements, royalty arrangements and access deeds.
You will also act for significant players in the Infrastructure and Energy sector on key documents such as joint operating agreements, LNG sale and purchase agreements, lifting and balancing agreements, tolling and supply and offtake agreements.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the appropriate level of post-qualification experience (5-8 years’ PQE in a City, major regional or leading international firm) and have broad exposure across a range of high value and/or complex projects. More specifically:
- Experience advising on a broad range of project development transactions in the Infrastructure and Energy sector.
- An ability to work independently and effectively manage smaller matters and elements of larger matters.
- A strong team ethic.
- A willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences and networks.
