E&P Team
The E&P team provides comprehensive whole-of-life advice and support to its diverse client base. The team is known for working with support in respect of some of the largest and market defining renewable energy projects and transactions.
From procurement design, probity and tendering, through to delivery advisory services and dispute resolution the firm has the necessary technical expertise, experience and industry knowledge to assist across all stages of the construction cycle and across all procurement methodologies.
Position Description
As part of the role, you will be acting for a range of clients in relation to approvals support in connection with project development as well as due diligence for the purpose of acquisition and financing of projects and project portfolios in a variety of asset classes.
You will also be an expert support on disputes and advisory work in relation to ESG matters, including climate change, carbon markets and energy transition.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the appropriate level of post-qualification experience (5 – 10 years’ PQE in a City, major regional or leading international firm) and have broad exposure across a range of high value and/or complex E&P matters. More specifically:
· Have a passion for ESG, climate change, carbon markets and/or energy transition and decarbonisation matters
· Have a collaborative approach, with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as within local and virtual teams, and often to demanding timelines
· Be commercially minded and energised to work together in driving new prospects, sharing in the excitement of new engagements
· Create and deliver sustainable, high quality client service whilst also considering and understanding the client’s business and objectives
