Our client’s Middle East offices provide a broad range of corporate/commercial work and the offices of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Riyadh operate seamlessly. The team consists of partners based across the Middle East region with a number of corporate partners based in Dubai, which is the headquarters of the Middle East operations.
Position Description
The role is to advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and equity investments with minimal supervision and to prepare share/asset purchase agreements, disclosure letters, joint venture/investment agreements and ancillary corporate documents. As well, conduct due diligence and draft due diligence reports on legal matters.
You will also get the opportunity to work as part of a regional corporate team and support partners and senior associates where necessary and to work on broader commercial matters as required.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the appropriate level of post-qualification experience (5-8 years’ PQE in a City, major regional or leading international firm) and have broad exposure across a range of high value and/or complex transactions. More specifically:
- Be a qualified lawyer with a 2:1 (or higher) degree classification (or equivalent) attained from a reputed academic institution
- Have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience as a corporate lawyer gained within recognised international law firms
- Be able to speak and write fluently in English
