A vacancy exists for a highly motivated Senior Associate or Associate looking for a step-up with expertise in defendant workers compensation matters to work for a leading firm in Sydney.

Team

Sitting in an established team, this is an opportunity for someone to work as a 2IC to leading Workers Compensation Partners in Australia, providing advice on common law and statutory workers compensation matters, working closely with large national client insurers.

Position Description

The successful applicant will work as part of a friendly and collegiate firm, advising on various defendant workers compensation matters, advising clients in a range of industries, including FMCG, logistics, aviation, and hospitality.

You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior team members, being seen as the most senior lawyer under the Partners.

This is a high-performing team who thrive off complex and varied matters, offering the successful applicant the potential to significantly upskill their expertise and consistently work on top tier matters.

Key Requirements

· At least 3-5 years post admission experience within a law firm;

· Demonstrated defendant workers compensation experience;

· Experience managing client relationships;

· Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stake holders.
