A vacancy exists for a highly motivated Senior Associate, or senior-level Associate looking for a step-up with a strong background from a national/international M&A/Capital Markets practice.

Team

Sitting as part of an established group, you will be working closely with a number of Partners who are currently supported by a group of talented Associates. This opportunity will see you coming in as a 2IC, and you will be involved with mentoring juniors in the team.

Position Description

The successful applicant will work as part of a global firm, advising on M&A and capital markets transactions for clients ranging from ASX-listed corporates to international brands in cross-border deals in sectors including energy, hospitality, FMCG, financial services, construction, and tech, to name a few.

This is a high-performing team who thrive off complex and varied matters, offering the successful applicant the potential to significantly upskill their expertise and consistently work on top tier matters, while also providing significant exposure to global, prolific deals.

Key Requirements

· At least 5 years’ post admission experience with a mid-tier, top-tier, or highly regarded specialist corporate team;

· Strong academic background and significant transactional deal sheet;

· Ability to work closely with Partners and clients on complex matters, while also being able to get involved with business development initiatives.
