Sitting in a legal team of 8, this is a unique opportunity for a construction/projects lawyer to work for a business with a purpose, providing legal advice across a range of health facilities and research institutes, all focused on providing compassionate, high quality health care to the community. You will be responsible for leading on all construction/projects related issues, and will be a key contact for construction matters at a group level.
Position Description
The successful applicant will work as part of a friendly and supportive in-house legal unit, advising on various construction and project matters relating to the development and maintenance of leading healthcare facilities and research centres.
You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the drafting and negotiating of a broad range of contracts beyond construction, covering (but not limited to) property, procurement (goods/services), IT, IP, and privacy.

Key Requirements
- At least 3-5 years post admission experience within a law firm or in house legal environment;
- Demonstrated construction law or projects experience;
- Experience dealing with property matters and commercial contracts will be considered a bonus;
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, and familiarity with advising on commercial matters and construction contracts with minimal supervision;
- Willingness to get involved with broad work, dealing with various corporate/commercial advisory matters for the business;
- Ability to provide commercial legal advice to non-legal stakeholders;
- Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stake holders; and
- Willingness to work for a values-led business.
