Henley Reid are working with a leading national firm, assisting with their search for an experienced Associate/Senior Associate to join their employment/WHS practice in Sydney.



Working closely with well-established Partners, this is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in employment and safety to work with leading, Tier 1 clients across the full spectrum of employment law. As an experienced lawyer in the team, this is the opportunity for someone to get involved with complex work, but also assist with business development and mentoring junior team members.

Position Description

The successful applicant will work as part of a friendly and collegiate firm, advising on various employment, industrial relations, and workplace health and safety matters for clients across Australia.

This is a high-performing team who thrive off complex and varied matters, offering the successful applicant the potential to accelerate their career and broaden their skillset.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an employment law background looking for greater variety, both in terms of work and client base.

Key Requirements

· At least 4 years post admission experience from a top or mid-tier firm;

· Demonstrated experience in employment or WHS law;

· Strong drafting and negotiation skills, and familiarity with advising on employment matters with minimal supervision;
