Finance Team
The team covers investment grade lending, leveraged/acquisition lending, debt capital markets, securitisation, restructuring and insolvency, derivatives, asset finance, project finance and infrastructure, energy and natural resources work.
In addition to its highly regarded Financing practice, our client has extensive Corporate, Financial Institutions, Competition and Disputes and Investigations practices. It also has strong practices in Financial Regulation, Tax, IP/IT, Real Estate, Commercial and Pensions and Employment.
Position Description
The role will have you involved in drafting, reviewing and amending the legal and commercial aspects of documentation as well as advising on the financing elements of a range of corporate and commercial issues.
You will be able to provide advice on a range of areas including investment grade lending, leveraged/acquisition lending, debt capital markets, securitisation, restructuring and insolvency, derivatives, asset finance, project finance and infrastructure, energy and natural resources work.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the appropriate level of post-qualification experience (0-4 years’ PQE in a City, major regional or leading international firm) and have broad exposure across a range of high value and/or complex transactions. More specifically:
- Previous experience of working on similar scale deals and with a significant level of responsibility is essential
- Ability to draft, advise and negotiate in relation to complex transactions
- Demonstrable first rate legal/commercial knowledge
- Excellent client relationship skills
