Position Description
The role will have a regional remit and cover contentious and non-contentious matters. You will be providing advice and support to clients on a full range of employment issues, including recruitment and sponsorship procedures, remuneration and benefits packages, grievance and disciplinary procedures and issues arising on the termination of employment.
More broadly the role will encompass supporting the corporate department with employment issues arising out of transactions, such as undertaking employment due diligence, drafting warranties and indemnities in agreements and the transfer of employees.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the appropriate level of post-qualification experience (2-4 years’ PQE in a City, major regional or leading international firm) and have broad exposure across a range of contentious and non-contentious matters. More specifically:
- Training and experience gained with either a well-recognised international or regional top tier law firm
- Have worked extensively on employment-related matters
- Strong drafting skills with a keen attention to detail
- Regional experience would be an advantage
