The team advises across the broad spectrum of corporate work including public takeovers, private M&A, ECM, complex joint ventures, disposals and corporate restructurings, as well as general commercial, antitrust and corporate governance issues.

The client is recognised as a leading adviser on M&A and other corporate transactions, and they are able to combine exceptional transactional skills with specialist expertise including antitrust, employment and benefits, environmental, intellectual property and tax.

Position Description

The role will cover drafting, reviewing and amending documentation, providing strategic guidance to clients and managing client expectations and project delivery appropriately.

You will provide advice across a broad spectrum of corporate work including public takeovers, private M&A, ECM, complex joint ventures, disposals and corporate restructurings, as well as general commercial, antitrust and corporate governance issues.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the appropriate level of post-qualification experience (0-4 years’ PQE in a City, major regional or leading international firm) and have broad exposure across a range of high value and/or complex transactions. More specifically:

  • Previous experience of working on similar scale deals and with a significant level of responsibility is essential
  • Ability to draft, advise and negotiate in relation to complex transactions
  • Demonstrable first rate legal/commercial knowledge
