Competition Team
The team handles cartel and other antitrust investigations and many high-profile cases, including advising Google in relation to various competition investigations around the world.
Our client operates out of its offices in London, Brussels and Hong Kong offices, and there are often international secondment opportunities available to associates, all of whom are encouraged to spend time working at one of these offices at the appropriate time.
Position Description
In this role you will provide advice on a range of competition law and commercial issues as well as draft, review and amend the legal and commercial aspects of documentation.
More broadly, you will continue to develop professional relationships with clients while supporting the wider team in developing business and raising the profile of the firm. There will also be the opportunity to manage/supervise the work of others including trainees.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the appropriate level of post-qualification experience (1-4 years’ PQE in a City, major regional or leading international firm) and have broad exposure across a range of high value and/or complex transactions. More specifically:
- Previous experience of working on similar cases and investigations is essential
- Excellent efficiency and transaction management skills
- Demonstrable first rate legal/commercial knowledge
- Resilience under pressure with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
