The Banking team works seamlessly with the mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate restructuring, capital markets and structured finance practices to provide the highest quality advice to our clients in all types of financing transactions.

The firm’s international platform, with offices in the major financial centres on four continents, allows it to advise across a broad spectrum of legal systems to the world’s largest corporations, as well as the world’s leading investment banks, commercial banks, private equity sponsors, hedge funds and other financing sources.

Position Description

As a banking lawyer you will advise on all types of financing transactions on a global basis, including acquisition financings (leveraged and investment grade) and bridge financings (leveraged and investment grade).

In addition, you will be able to provide advice on a range of areas including asset-based financings, mezzanine financings, workouts, restructurings, debtor-in-possession and exit financings as well as project financings and “alternative” financings and real estate financings.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the appropriate level of post-qualification experience (1-3 years’ PQE) and have broad exposure across a range of high value and/or complex transactions. More specifically:

• Experience in drafting and negotiating commitment papers, security agreements and other loan documents
• Knowledge of loan documents as well as general corporate experience
• High level of academic achievement
• Solid law firm experience preferred
