We are partnering with a leading national firm, assisting with their search for an experienced corporate lawyer to join their well-established Sydney practice.

Working as part of a highly regarded team in Sydney, this is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in corporate transactional work to get involved with large scale public and private M&A, capital markets transactions, venture capital, private equity, and corporate governance matters for clients across financial services, FMCG, technology, FinTech, healthcare, and aviation.

Position Description

The successful applicant will work as part of a high performing team, working closely with leading Partners and seniors on a range of corporate advisory matters.

You will gain access to a prolific client base, and will be given the opportunity to develop your skills by assisting both Australian and international clients. You will also gain exposure to innovative clients and transactions, including those in renewable energy, innovative tech (including cryptocurrency businesses) and healthcare.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in corporate law who is looking for access to larger, prolific matters.

Key Requirements

· At least 2 years post admission experience with another corporate/commercial law firm team;

· Strong drafting and negotiation skills;

· Experience dealing with M&A and exposure to corporate compliance matters;

· Ability to think commercially and provide practical advice for clients;

· Excellent academic background
