Henley Reid are working with a leading international firm, assisting with their search for an experienced Associate to join their commercial litigation practice in Sydney.

Working with a top-tier team in Sydney, this is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in disputes to get involved with complex, high stakes corporate litigation for ASX-listed, multinational corporations, and large Australian private businesses.

They have a very well-developed disputes practice, and work across a range of areas including R&I, transactional and commercial disputes, class actions, insurance, IP, and white collar crime.

Position Description

The successful applicant will work as part of a high performing team, working closely with leading Partners and Senior Associates on a broad range of commercial disputes.

This is a high-performing team who thrive off complex and varied matters, offering the successful applicant the potential to accelerate their career and broaden their skillset, and get exposure to the most prolific litigious matters in Australia.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a litigious background looking for greater variety, both in terms of work and client base.

Key Requirements

· At least 3 years post admission experience in any area of litigation;

· Willingness to upskill into new areas of disputes;

· Demonstratable Court experience;

· Strong drafting and negotiation skills;

· Stellar academic background
